The ports, not the ships, are the key attractions, and you will certainly pack a lot of sightseeing into a week or two.

Airfare can be included with some River Cruise lines. Can also purchase separately 

 Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes you can get the local food of the port you are in, depending on the cruise line. Food is included with your price.

Age depends on the river cruise lines. Some don’t allow kids but some have a requirement of kids being at least 8-10 years old.

The river cruise line usually has a singer or pianist for evening entertainment. Some have some performance based programs based on the port you are in.

Many of the ships do have internet, there are packages to purchase wifi.

 You can put a credit card on file for your cruise and can make purchases with that.
